Naturist Eden in the Dominican Republic

Tucked away on the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic, where tropical forests meet the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, lies the aptly named resort, Eden Bay. Although only eighty minutes away from the mass tourism resorts of Puerto Plata, Eden Bay feels beautifully remote and away from everything. The Adam and Eve, who stay in Eden, a fully naturist vacation at this beautifully maintained, clothing optional resort.

It's just too easy to spend every day of your holidayIn the extensive grounds of Eden. You must deal with at least 40 hectares of land and areas that are shaded by coconut trees, grass, turf, sandy coves, rocky beaches and flower gardens. Among these natural properties, the locations can be found by the man-made facilities. They include two swimming pools, three whirlpools, volleyball court, a water-volleyball court, bars, restaurants and accommodation.

If you muster the will to put on some clothes, and power outsideEden at some point during your vacation, this portion of the Dominican Republic offers many attractions. My best travel tip is to visit the Samana Peninsula.

Here you will find deserted beaches with sand as white as sugar and palm forests, beautiful hills of shading orchids and bromeliads of brilliant colors. On the southern side of the peninsula, Upmarket hotels and small resorts have been developed over the years, but they blend tastefully into the surroundingEnvironment. The largest city in the area is Santa Barbara de Samana, and it is a very good reason to go there if your travel is between mid January and mid March. At this time of year, the natural bay of Samana calving and breeding grounds for three to five thousand humpbacks. Boats from Santa Barbara, the tourists in the bay for sightings of these magnificent animals up close. From a boat, it is possible for the lone male humpback whale song to hear and to advertiseWitnesses shows the tail lobbing, flippering and injured. Most performances are done by male humpback whales and trying to impress women and to compete for her attention. If you are lucky you may even have a "stand" on his story at the moment with the right mouse button from the water.

The whale watching boats have quite a way out out into the bay and can chop a bit surprising encounter. A travel tip for someone like me who is not a sailor on his stomach, tooSeasickness tablets before you go. Another tip is to take something warm to need on the issue, if set. We have watered the power boat crashed through the waves, and even though the weather was fine and the Caribbean is about as warm as sea water, the sea breeze made me quite cool after a while.

Not to be missed, it is a wonderful experience, very close to these fascinating animals and the ride to Samana Bay is one. However, it was sometimes possible to look for whales fromEden Bay, when she through her wandering into the office a few hundred meters sea. One day we were sitting in a hot tub, which overlook the sea and saw a sending large springs of water into the air.

There are many other worthwhile places in this part of the Dominican Republic. The northern mountain ranges of the present tourists with adventurous activities, mountain bike trails, hiking, rubber and Rafting on the Rio Yaque del Norte are. For people who like to have more extremesporting activities there are cascading. This involves climbing to the top of waterfalls and abseiling over the waterfall!

Personally, proved to be the magnet of Eden too much, allow me to spend more time away from the plant. Days of basking in the tropical sun, water volleyball, organized snorkeling in crystal clear water, or enjoying one of the many games on the beach at the Eden Bay employees were of mild evenings with dancing, eating and drinking followed. Sometimes it isI feel a little guilty that we saw so little from the rest of the Dominican Republic, but we were not alone in this regard. We have many new friends during our stay at Eden Bay, and they all found it as difficult as we rely on the plant.
