Korea has many destinations, and Gyeongju has a large number in a small area. I have listed specifies the main tourist destinations such as from the official tourist map of Gyeongju. As you can see, there are many places to visit and see many things. If you are in a given area (eg Down Gyeongju city), you could see quite easily, most of the major attractions, if you wanted to, because they are often quite close together. All attractions are within walking distance of downtownDistance from each other.
If you go to either the city of Gyeongju or Bomun lake (where the best international hotels) found in the spring - early to mid-April - you can witness the blossoming cherry trees Gyeongju. "They are absolutely beautiful and should definitely your way to be on when you want to visit Korea. Gyeongju is a tourist friendly city, and the support in English is often present. Many American and British travelers their way through and GyeongjuForeigners are often seen cycling through the streets, and especially on the side of the stream.
Once in the city, you can get help from the tourist information in English, by calling 1330 from a local phone. They have supported me by providing me with occasional local bus times and costs, among others.
